I don't quite agree with you on two of the points still.
Jordan might be more popular but not by some astronomical amount. Tyson is very popular in his own right.
Jordan didnt single handedly make basketball global that has been a process and we can argue it's made more progress in the last 15 years than in Jordan's era. The G league and accelerated rate of international players in the NBA is also largely thanks to Nash, Ginobli, Curry, Kobe, and Dirk. Social media plays a huge factor as well and the interest in the NBA is much bigger now than in the 90s, globally.
Ali again might be more popular, but I doubt it. We are talking about the general public not boxing heads like us who discuss and review history often. I think it's pretty close either way but let's say Tyson is the 2nd most popular boxer ever by face. That's still a big deal and he is still a cultural icon.
