Tyson is definitely the more popular and iconic character but unless the fight is for a belt or something the casuals aren't going to come flocking in masses, especially if they keep reminding people it's an exhibition. If Tyson made a real run at contention then I see him generating tons of interest.

Fury is right now the king of boxing so of course he can fight tin cans and the world will watch.
800k?? wtf in what world would that ever happen.

    It's lucky if it cracks 100k .

Tyson Fury is by far the bigger draw in boxing terms.
Naw, a Wallin rematch wouldn't generate jack. Just like the first fight didn't.

I could easily see a Mike Tyson fight beating that.

A WBC defense against a guy who cut him above the eye and took him 12 rounds in a pretty good fight?

that would sell better than any mike tyson fight.

          For sure.

A better question might be, where is Tyson status to FMW or Ali (dare I say)? AJ has a small cult but Wilder and Fury are nobodies.

              - -AJ exceedingly popular, but since a global polling of even dubious value, the question has a moot value.

Tyson ain't popular with women's groups, women being the only global majority in the world.

Mike Tyson is a black cultural icon and has been since the mid 1980s.

                That will never go away.

His stock dropped in value after he was knocked out by a fat guy.
