After Ali passed Tyson became the most popular boxer alive.

Think about it they used to group the 3Mikes together in the 90s.

      Michael Jordan..... Michael Jackson.....Mike Tyson

I'd say Michael Jordan is ahead of him. Not having Mike's baggage probably helps in that regards.

If Tyson came out with a doc like MJ just had it would do wonders for the younger generation.

            Definitely

Maybe the really young generations are starting to not know much about him, but that’s normal. I have nephews who are about 11 that don’t know who it is but know Tyson Fury.

To anybody above a certain age, Mike is one of the most recognisable men on the planet

I’m not sure I put Michael Jordan in that category worldwide. Although he’s very recognisable, I think people should remember that outside of USA a lot of people don’t care about basketball at all. I’d be surprised if most Europeans could name more than five basketball players. Obviously he would be on the list but he’s not on the level of the others worldwide but his shoes probably keeping him very relevant in another way.

Tyson could easily run for President, just like Pacquiao.

                  Yeah... Mike hands down...

Still, I'm baffled at how he went from a nurse caring for his beaten down opponents to a cannibal man eater having a preference for ears...
