RoyJones vs James Toney rematch in 2003

The Jones who beat John Ruiz, vs The Toney who beat Vassily Jirov for the Cruiserweight title. Who wins this fight?

I can't see any version of Toney being even remotely competitive with RJJ as long as Roy was close to his prime.

Roy absolutely played with him. I can't recall another fight between two ATGs or even top P4P fighters that was so embarrassingly one-sided.

As much as I like James, Roy would still be too elusive for him.

There’s no time in history where Roy Jones loses a round to James Toney.

Two totally different class of fighters.

Jones was a superhero in the ring while Toney was a hero in the ring!

It wouldn't have been even close. Roy Jones would have been too fast for the laid back and counter punching James Toney.

That Jones beats that Toney in my opinion. Toney was very good but Jones was better. Jones could beat Toney now if he was fighting Toney instead of Tyson.

Gotta go with Roy. Toney was great but usually when guys came to him. He's a lazy great. If you give him a lot of movement and make him work, he doesn't look that good. Roy's style was poison for him.
