Only on boxing scene could someone think this run of consecutive fights is worthy of criticism:
Juan Manuel Marquez (reigning lineal, unified, Ring lightweight champion)
Shane Mosley (reigning lineal welterweight champion)
Victor Ortiz (reigning WBC welterweight champion)
Miguel Cotto (reigning WBA super welterweight champion)
Robert Guerrero (reigning WBC interim welterweight champion)
Canelo Alvarez (reigning WBA, WBC, Ring super welterweight champion)
Marcos Maidana (reigning WBA welterweight champion)
Marcos Maidana rematch
Manny Pacquiao (reigning WBO welterweight champion)
Andre Berto (reigning WBA interim welterweight champion)
that just shows that everyone in boxing is a "champ" in some way shape or form. do you really think floyd vs berto was a good fight because berto was some kind of interim champ? most of those fights arent bad but none of those guys were elite and prime at the same time. canelo is the closest but we know the weight for that one was absurd. he just didnt want to fight prime guys. we saw it time and time again. cotto and marg retirement time. pac...avoidance time, next gen with thurman and spence logan paul and some japanese kid instead
Yep and they also dont have those Rios, Horn ,Matthysee exhibitions in common either
So start a Manny thread. That's all you cats can do when ppl got Floyd dead to rights. 82,000 posts defending Floyds honor. Geez.
Truth is, Floyd made a mockery of the sport all on his own.
In order for Floyd to fight a guy with a height and reach advantage on him, it's gotta be a guy like McGregor who never fought a pro boxer in his life.
How fast did this guy vacate the premises once Crawford and Spence started getting recognized.

Yes, because it's a circus act and a hoax. There is no truth to it all whatsoever because it makes Money May appears like Roy Jones; Desperate for cash. Which I know he is not.
