What a strange obsession some "fans" have. Nobody is forcing you or anyone else to watch Floyd fight midgets, senior citizens, or Logan Paul. He's only able to do it because of how famous he is and you people in particular keep him relevant.
Its an exhibition match and not an official fight so how could it be an insult to boxing or MMA? Boxing and MMA are both programs in the entertainment industry and this exhibition will also be entertainment.
Dont like it or support it? Dont watch it or buy it. The more you talk about Floyd, in support or against, the more he can do fights like these.
Also, 48-0 really ruined some lives and fucked some people's minds upComment

Im a big fan of floyd but yes this is a insult to boxing. Why is a man who has boxed his whole life fought and defeated many world champions and legends fighting a youtube star who has already lost to another youtube star. Floyd is a representation of boxing and he is ruining the integrity of the sport by fighting people with 5/6 months of boxing training whilst hes been involved in boxing for 30 years. He might as well fight justin bieber and mia khalifa since those are 2 well known names? Hes tarnishing the sport. If he wants a exhibition he should have a go karting race or a football match or something. What a strange obsession some "fans" have. I wish y'all would wait for things to be official b4 making all these threads.
He was approached but hasn't agreed to it yet.
That being said this doesn't effect boxing the same way Tyson vs Jones won't.Comment

Boxing insults itself by being a sh^tshow of a "professional sport" where selling tickets is put above the integrity & competitiveness of the sport. If boxing had one clearly defined champ in each division, if rankings made sense & if you had to climb the rankings via fighting better & better also ranked fighters, among other massive structural problems, what Floyd has done & might do again in the future would be an insult to boxing.
It's easy to blame boxers for taking advantage of how boxing works, but the real culprit of how boxing works is the power brokers of the sport that don't step into the ring to fight. They created & make the rules of the things fans are embarrassed of in the sport. Boxers merely exploit the environment they've been made to have to excell in cuz of their physical & skill attributes.Comment

Boxing fans take it way too seriously and think it reflects badly upon the sport.
If it happens, you should take it for what it is, which is just a money making event, and a few days after it’s over nobody will care.Comment

The fight is a joke that will make lots of money if it happens but I have seen no solid evidence that it itis going to happen. Of course it is an insult
to boxing but boxing gets insulted so much that another insult doesn't matter much. Every time world heavyweight boxing champ Fury fights a wrestler it is an insult to boxing. Tyson vs Jones in a pfv is another insult. Mayweather vs Conor was an insult and made huge money. Mayweather only cares about being richer than he already is. He does not give a damn f his fights are good for boxing. Mayweather is not going to risk his unbeaten record against a good world rated welterweight boxer. He can take joke fights with no risk and make tons of money so that is what he will do. Making huge money so easily with no downside or risks is very tempting and Mayweather and Paul and Fury can't resist doing it.Comment
