There isn't? Then that is for dumb motherfuckers. It should be because this is a title unification bout. This is not a mandatory challenge or defense.

Man, power is not enough to beat the IQ, footwork and speed. It will be clear 30 seconds into the fight that it is a mismatch. No need for the rematch.

Agree it's a dumb business move, but they are with the same outfit so a rematch seems highly doable if Teo wins. Loma is just fooking himself out of guaranteed money by not getting it included.

But Loma might see the justice in that if he were to lose so it is what it is...or it's simply cuz these mfers had such a rough time coming to an agreement that throwing in a rematch clause was gonna be more problematic than helpful in making the fight.

Teo got to move him backwards and apply constant pressure

You're right. In the event that Lopez defeats Loma he would want more money. Perhaps as much as a 50/50 purse split which would definitely be a deal breaker.

Dude, what’s not to like about Loma? The humiliation that Teo is going to receive is going to be worse than any one punch KO.

I think that's crazy, especially for a unification fight, but I like it because that means the winner can fight Haney or Tank after this, and that's what I want to see!

??? really!! Not saying Loma will loose, but Walters better, interesting point of view. Walter's had his best performance by far when he won his belt, but nothing impressive before or after except the pig punch with a mediocre delivery and not very fast for the weight class.

50/50 fight in my book. Reminds me a bit of Hagler vs Leonard. If no one gets KOd this will one that could be debated for a while.

The rematch clauses are things agreed to by the fighters before the fight. That's it. Loma never inquired the fight's rematch clause before and Lopez is not an exception.
