Povetkin should win, being old doesn't erase his pedigree or power, but goddamn he cannot take a punch any more. Legs are gone or resistance is getting bad. Maybe both.

If it’s free how can it be “Illegal” to stream it? Not everyone wants to walk around with a TV. I stream free TV on my ipad or iPhone. They are free. So how would that be illegal? Most people don’t have time to sit in front of a TV. You are at work? Then you can stream from app etc... I have BT sport app which I stream on my mobile.
An authorized stream from an official app from the owner of the broadcast is different than an unauthorized stream from another website. That's a terrible and unrelated example.
But you already knew that. And you were only pretending to be an idiot with that comment. Right?Comment

Are you joking? It's an illegal reproduction of a copyrighted broadcast.

Secondly you claimed it’s free and then it would be illegal to stream. Am asking how does that happen, all the apps that I have that are free on TV are free on their app.
So you going on a rant and cussing like a child 😂 over someone trying to have a conversation or finding out where and how you think it was illegal... Gosh wow...Comment

I imagine Hearn had them tied to a contract which says a rematch is basically on their terms, whenever they say and wherever they say.
Can’t really blame Povetkin’s team for signing it when they did. He was coming off a draw and where else Was he going to be in a pay-per-view fight? never mind two...
It was a great opportunity that point and getting a rematch PPV is probably a bonus, considering where he was a few months ago.
So despite where the rematch is, all things considered, Povetkin has done great out of it financially at this stage in his career.Comment

I'll put the fight 60-40 in Whyte's favor.
I still think Povetkin is washed up at this age. Sure, he is talented and can punch but many things deteriorate with age including speed, your mental sharpnes, recovery time, etc. As I said, the quick turnaround time also favours Whyte.Comment

Whyte... now:
“I’m over the moon to have the rematch”
The Ref.... right at the end of the fight:
"Yeah he's 'over' alright. Over and OUT."

Decrease the price ... increase the fans .. simple or they just stream it.
Wrong. Many people buy it then have friends over to help pay for it. And many clubs in the States buy it for their patrons.Comment

A free broadcast isn't really free of course, it's paid for via advertisement. So the only reason it would matter is if the original broadcaster didn't have a clue about people streaming it. The more viewers, the more they can increase their ad rates.
I'm sure these broadcasters have good estimates of streaming views though, so they can include those as an estimated subset of total viewers. The companies running the ads surely don't care one bit if someone watches their ad via "illegal" stream or over a "legit" channel.Comment

Whyte is an *******
But he's a brave *******
In a sport full of duckers you have to praise a guy getting straight back in with a guy who knocked him out cold.Comment
