I couldn’t imagine going through a training camp with that kind of concussion though. He’s got to have PCS
It's still too short a turnaround. 3 months seems like a massive rush. Even when Joshua got KO'ed his rematch too 6 months.

In North America I’m pretty sure it’s six month suspension for a KO. I’m blown away it’s less than a month over there.

If the PPV is stacked, or if the fight is compelling and interesting, that’s just the cost of doing things here. I don’t think PBC is the only group who charges that much for PPV. Certainly don’t think Ward v Kovalev, or any of the Canelo fights before DAZN were cheap. It’s a US thing. The biggest fights happen here. The biggest PPV audience is here. Promoters feel like they can charge more money to tap into it. I agree that stuff should be cheaper and/or cards should be a bit more stacked though.

A promoters job is to build a group of guys up so when they reach the top they are worth the PPV demand when they fight each other. Oscar was the last guy who did it right. He fought too guys in interesting fights where either there was beef / rivalry between him and his opponent (Vargas / Trinidad), or the other dude was really good or really popular. Otherwise he would fight on HBO.

You didnt catch him fighting the likes of a washed up Amir khan on PPV Like Canelo and Crawford, or a Robert Guerrero like Mayweather. Ppv was for big fights w big stakes.

The turnaround for this fight is a joke , far too short. If Whyte is not lying and truly believes he heard the referee counting to six then seven as he claims then the injury to his brain is substantial, as we all know the ref didn't count at all.I paid last time out as I thought it was a half decent bill and didn't want any interruption but unless it's another half decent bill and not so fast Eddie doesn't try to fob us off with just the top of bill fight, which is mediocre then I won't be parting with the loot this time around!

Weird? Getting fired up about a KO victim is weird. Getting on PPV after the worst performance of the year is weird. Whyte makes people happy getting sparked, his fan base grew after AJ, and Pulev put him on PPV. WEIRD!

Whyte needs to get his fat ass in shape. This is definitely the best fight that could be made right now not including the big 3 in the division.

I imagine Hearn had them tied to a contract which says a rematch is basically on their terms, whenever they say and wherever they say.

Can’t really blame Povetkin’s team for signing it when they did. He was coming off a draw and where else Was he going to be in a pay-per-view fight? never mind two...

It was a great opportunity that point and getting a rematch PPV is probably a bonus, considering where he was a few months ago.

So despite where the rematch is, all things considered, Povetkin has done great out of it financially at this stage in his career.
