Please say it ain't so Oleksandr. If that is indeed the case, then we won't see a undisputed heavyweight championship bout until the end of 2021 at the earliest or sometime in 2022.

I can't knock Usyk for wanting his opportunity. I just thought that since he and AJ are promoted by the same promotional company; He would allow for a little wiggle room for Joshua to challenge either Wilder or Fury first for undisputed.

      Grow up moron.
Or better still come out of the basement, go upto mummys room & tell me to my face. Its coupon night & I've been trampolining her all night.
You sir are an absolute idiot. Whether you like AJ or not, how can you argue he’s protected? The guy has fought more Top 10 fighters than Fury and Wilder, had unifications unlike the others, and fought Klitschko in less than 20 fights and 4 years as a pro, in what was a genuine 50/50 fight.

In my view, this accusation can only be levelled at Wilder, who is probably the most protected long-reigning champ in history. Fury showed great courage stepping up to Klitschko (in the same year Wilder’s team were crying about not being ready), and fighting Wilder while unfit. My only critique of him so far is he tends to match himself very softly in between big fights, and arguably only takes risks when the stakes are sufficiently high.

And then the ABC orgs will come up with four more mandatories. The cycle never stops when it comes to getting four Mafias heads to allow a complete unification of their property.

The WBO belt wouldn't mean **** to Fury.
Lol. Fury is going to lose to AJ, and by stoppage

I think people here mischaracterise promotional outfits - these aren’t football or basketball teams we’re talking about here. Boxers are independent contractors without protections afforded to them in other sports, and have to be in it just for themselves.

Usyk owes nothing to AJ and will pursue his mandatory, as any boxer with world title ambitions in his position should.

I'm not knocking him. I can't blame him. If I was in his position I would want my opportunity too ASAP.

That's possible, AJ has power and he's a good boxer too. I think a Fury win is more likely though.

Not really. I've been following both Fury and Usyk since before AJ even turned Amateur. Two of my favourite fighters. Just because you are a casual doesn't mean everyone else is.

I was aware of Usyk before I ever heard of AJ, but I'm not going to lie and say I was "following" him. But Fury lives near me and I started following his career in the local paper when he was a teenager.

I'm a big fan of all 3 guys, but more so Fury than the other 2. I'm not a fanboy of any of them though.

He saw what happened to Whyte. He doesn’t want to risk taking another non title fight if he gets through Chisora.
