Comments Thread For: Danny Garcia: Spence Doesn't Have More Skills, More Power Than Me

Danny Garcia believed before Errol Spence Jr.'s car accident that he would've defeated the unbeaten IBF/WBC welterweight champion. The former WBC champ suspects Spence will be his usual formidable self when they fight November 21, but Garcia is as sure as ever that he'll upset Spence. Garcia discussed their FOX Sports Pay-Per-View main event with Showtime's Brian Custer during his most recent episode of "The Last Stand Podcast."

    Skills? He's got em.

Power? I mean, considering he's only got one guy on the resume, if I recall, that hasn't hit the deck at least once, I would challenge that too.

Only question mark is the crash damage.

If he's able to drop Danny Swift, we'll know for sure that Spence is 100%.

Garcia is a moron if he truly believes this. He better hope that accident took something out of Spence it's the only way this average WW wins that fight. Paper thin resume at Welter.

Spence is far more skilled that Garcia. He’s the best at 147. Garcia probably has more 1 punch power

My one only concern for Danny Garcia is Spence's body punching. As we all know Erroll is a relentless body puncher and so far no one has ever targeted Danny Garcia's body the way Spence plans on doing it. If he can hurt Danny to the body, then I got a feeling that he will knock Swift out.

He was very competitive in the Porter fight. He did deserve to lose though. And Keith built up an early lead and literally ran the rest of the fight. Again, Danny deserved to lose that one too.

Having said that, for him to be competitive in those fights, I give him credit. He has more than a paper thin resume at 147. He’s proved he can give anybody a tough fight, and I think this is a nice matchup vs Spence where Danny will again lose.

This is my thought too. It's a dangerous game going to DSG body because of his timing and counter punching power but the body shots from Spence should break Danny down.

Danny is delusional! Spence has much better skill set than him, and he's a southpaw! My only question, besides recovery from the accident, is how Spence makes weight! He was near 180 before the Porter fight, so what was his starting point this time, and how far does he have to go today?
