I followed Garcia since he was in his early 20's his problem has always been that he fights to his opponents level unless he's the sizable underdog going into the fight with the exception of maybe the Thurman bout.

So it wouldn't surprise me If Garcia does a lot better than people expect being the underdog here, but I think once Spence feels his power we're either going to get a shootout or a chess match for 12rds. IMO it's going to be the latter because neither one wants to nor is willing to take the risk to get brutally KTFO at this point in their career

Both of them are some hard hitters

In life, everyone takes losses. If losses don't count, how would you ever learn and improve. No ones perfect. The greatest fighters ever have multiple losses. If you get in there and almost win, how can that not be looked at as an accomplishment. Sometimes it just isn't your night. I've seen guys win fights that I know weren't better 9 times out of 10. But that's boxing. You're always 1 punch away from losing. Garcia has a hell of a chance of winning. He's never been dominated by anyone at any level. I'll be pulling for Spence, but make no mistake, Danny can definitely win this fight in a number of different ways. Danny Garcia is not to be taken lightly. He's no soft touch.

I instantly thought of a Simpsons episode where they make fun of Soccer(footbal/futbol) and have one team just passing the ball to each other playing defense all game.

Having 2 counter punchers in there will be as exciting as watching Lara fight. I would expect Spence to have lost something in that crash. Spence has the reach and size advantage. Both can punch and are text book punchers. Very clean, very effective. It will come down to who can adjust the best. Both fighters start off really slow and need about 4-5 rounds before they pick it up so whoever is ahead on the score cards then probably has the fight won.

Never been a fan of flat footed boxers.

U have more power than Porter and Thurman - but u still lost bc u WONT go to war and refuse to let your hands and go toe to toe until the last 30 seconds of rd 12!!!!U r content to go 12 and leave it in the hands of the judges wen facing top competition.

Garcia will do what he does best, which is give a good effort and come close as usual, but it will go to the cards and he will again come up short. Top level fighter, but never quite elite. He lacks that extra gear the greats always seem to have.

spence couldn't hurt a smaller garcia who was dropped by martinez and hurt by burgos. i mean, danny might get stopped 'cause his stamina isn't the best but it would be hard for spence to do so. and also you have to take in consideration the car accident, hard to see spence being just fine after that big crash.

I disagree, I didn't find his losses to Porter or Thurman as being very close. He was the clear loser in both of those fights. He hasn't done anything at the weight and has been living off his wins at 140 for years. He only has name value because of that weight class. I don't view him as dangerous at 147 he hasn't destroyed anyone of note since once again his days at 140. Idk why he is labeled as a dangerous puncher still, he has not impressed with his power. He is gonna lose and I say that with complete confidence and yes he will be the gatekeeper after this fight because he will have lost all of his big fights at 147.

Lol i like how people are giving danny credit for saying he'll fight spencer before the crash. Its not like they already made it official and had a date set
