It's a shame when you are allowed to get knocked unconscious and it's like nothing happen you are already in line for another shot at the interim title in a rematch against the guy that slept you this is not how boxing should work if you get a surprise TKO or lose a close decision I can see a rematch being possible especially if it's 2 undefeated fighters but what does this say for other fighters oh I can go in there and get my ass knocked out cold but it's ok in 4 months I can rematch the guy and if I beat him there wont be no trilogy we settled the score already lol fckin joke.
The hate for Whyte on here is strange. He takes risky fights constantly, even when it risks his mandatory status. If all fighters were like him the sport would be in a better position.
its no mystery why whyte is hated he talks a lot of **** and is always ragging on somebody also he acts like he's a world champion when he clearly is not on that level. so naturally people will celebrate when he fails. didn't he also get caught cheating?
I respect Whyte. He has been in a lot of good fights. He has some decent names on his resume. Even at 40 I had Povetkin as the #5 HW in the world & Whyte at #4 prior to the fight. Povetkin proved he still has something left. Joshua, Hammer, price, Whyte, Hughie Fury & a draw with Hunter all in his late 30s/early 40s. I think the rematch is still 50/50 but Povetkin’s experience & boxing skills could be the difference again. At the same time Povetkin at 41 could get old overnight & that could play into Whyte’s favour. This is one rematch i want to see. Whyte does need to stop the chirping like Wilder did after he got stopped by Fury. Get properly prepared & stop worrying about what the other top HWs are doing. First he looked past Povetkin then he looked up at him when he was on his back...
Why an immediate rematch when dillion got sparked? I have respect for him for fighting fringe guys, but rematchs are usually for close or great fights. Eddie ***** upto his old tricks again, he must of known dillions chin is not upto scratch, so demanded on a rematch clause. I think a sharper more switched on Whyte can beat pov, but at any given time, Alex with his power, can ko Whyte, that has been proven.
