What most fans are happy about is that a loudmouth was annihilated out cold. Has nothing to do with past accomplishments... which would include his 2 previous where Whyte looked very weak. But hey, keep playing deflectorama, friend.Again, most of you on here are idiots. Whyte is facing top 10 guys consistently and rematching right away, yet you idiots are condemning him for it? Meanwhile Fury has fought a string of nobodies since coming back, and you idiots praise him for it? Just like you praised Wilder for fighting 5 years of bums?Comment

You sir are either a moron or a weekend boxing fan, but not an actual boxing student.
There was NOTHING lucky about that punch... it is called experience. IT was beautifully set up and was the entire strategy going into the fight.
IT is no secret that Whyte gets hits... A LOT... and has been KD's and TKO'ed with upper cuts... this was Povetkin's strategy.Comment

Lucky punch? Did you even watch the fight? He had been setting him up for that punch all night long by digging to the body then in this instance feinted to the body and came up through his guard to land an uppercut. Whyte has been susceptible to the uppercut his entire career. No this wasn’t “lucky” it was calculated and perfectly timed.Comment

It'll be interesting to see if Whyte adopts the Joshua–Ruiz II strategy for the rematch. He'd be foolish not to – from a distance using his jab, he could win it without too much trouble. There's absolutely no point getting into a close-range tear-up with Povetkin. Too tough, too experienced. Even Wladimir didn't want it.Comment
