Why is Crawford not held to the same standard as other 'P4P' fighters?

He is, which is why he isn't taken seriously or even a relevant fighter in the division.

No ones denying he's talented, he reminds me of Marvin Hagler at times, but the issue is that he's essentially Sven Ottke; he's off in another country fighting a bunch of nobodies. His name is not in the mix. He's in the rankings because he has the title and a bunch of defenses, but no one has taken him seriously since he re-signed with TR knowing that they had no one for him to fight.

There are multiple guys with less than 20 fights who have better resumes and have accomplished more than Crawford, yet they get little recognition.

This 'nobody wants to fight him' narrative is boring and only casuals run with that BS, like when it was happening with Golovkin who was constantly shat on. Fighters will fight ANYONE if you put up the money and that's facts. So lets stop blaming other fighters and start looking and Crawford and his team for simply not attempting to get big fights for him.
I'm still waiting on the counter offer from him to fight Keith Thurman. That's if he really wants to fight him. Which I don't believe. If Keith overpriced himself then call his bluff by offering him with something more reasonable. If not, then it's considered an official duck by Crawford in my judgement.

Why would Bud/Bob send a counter offer? You know Keith's signing that paper real quick

That's the reason why Bud/Bob have no plans of sending a counter offer

Crawford Brook/Thurman are garbage fights, but Spence/Garcia is awesome? And it seems like Porter has the winner locked in, stating recently Spence doesn’t have a choice but to fight him if he beats Garcia.

PBC has no plans, never had any desire of risking losing a belt to Crawford. Until Crawford is passed it/Spence loses his belts, don’t expect Haymon to allow that fight. I can believe Porter and Thurman want to fight(kind of, they’d be allowed, but I feel like they are more flexing than anything), because there’s nothing to lose there, everything to gain, but on that same token, Arum isn’t risking losing Crawford’s belt to a PBC fighter with nothing to gain in return, when Crawford would just be shut out even harder by PBC if He lost that belt to them. Even with a rematch clause, we saw the drama from Ruiz, trying to run with Joshua’s belts. It’d be pretty much guaranteed Crawford would leave Arum as soon as possible if that belt was yet another kept hostage in PBC.

I’ve resigned myself to waiting for Taylor/Ramirez for Crawford.

There is no fighter with less than 20 fights who has more accomplishments than Crawford GTFOH!

In fact there is no active fighter besides Manny with more accomplishments than Crawford.

            Unified champion at 135

            Undisputed champion at 140.

Champion at 147 and he beat the man who beat the man too.

No one has accomplished more than that that isn't named Manny Pacquiao.

People criticise his resume but those guys he beat at 140 were undefeated or unified champions at the time.

Nobody was calling those fights cherry picks when they happened.

It's like when people try to sell Trout short as an opponent, people forget that when Canelo beat him he was undefeated and had just beaten and schooled the man at 154 at the time.

Crawford has accomplished more than your favorite guy if your favorite guy ain't Manny.

I like Crawford but he hasnt been held to p4p status. How can he? To do so he would have to Of FOUGHT Porter, Thurman, Garcia & of course Spence.

But who has he beat? Look who he beat to clean out the divisions.

The only respectable wins on Crawford's resume for me are Postol and Diaz and neither of those are world beaters.

Yaaaawn. Usyk has cleared out cruiser in less fights, Lomachenko after 3 fights had a better resume than Crawford has RIGHT NOW, Inoue has a better resume less than 20 fights, you want me to keep going?

Pacquiao, Thurman, Spence, Porter, Garcia all have better resumes than Crawford, both at 147 AND overall.

I have LITERALLY been saying for like 6 yrs that Crawford would be mid 30s by the time hed fight someone because hes happy cherrypicking bums & still being erroneously called p4p #1-2 by biased media shills,& now here we are & I can finally gloat to all his die hards that I told them so all these yrs in a row.
