David lost the belt on the scales everybody knows that but he didn't lose it in the ring if he makes 168 again then what is the problem he only missed weight once in his career and it is during a pandemic where things don't go as smoothly as they once did. How is it that Gervonta can fight for a 130 lb title when he lost it on the scales before but David can't.
Everything will be blown under the rug and forgotten soon anyways remember Canelo had beef with the WBC during his Golovkin fights he didn't want to accept their belts but now they love him again just how it goes David is an entertaining fighter I'm sure the WBC wouldn't want to lose him as one of their champions.
If he misses weight or gets into trouble outside the ring again then that would be 3 strikes but the ******* use was out of competition when he was young not like he was doing rails before the fights like Pernell Whitaker I think people need to get over that.

Benavidez and Plant is definitely the one to see though. I think it would be a great fight to watch and possibly bring out the best in both guys.
Soon as he deals with Garcia, Pac, and Crawford.

Imagine if they ranked him #1.....i can see the headlines now:
Wbc immediately allows benavidez to fight for the now vacant 168 pound title he once held...... Canelo immediately withdraws his letter of interest to fight for the vacant wbc 168 pound title. Resumes negotiations with Anthony Direll.
