Honestly I just wanna see Benavidez against Plant or either one of the other top 168 guys then see him move up. I think he will be a force in the light heavyweight division too.

Ok! Seems like they should order Benavides vs yuridum and the winner vs Canelo for the belt. But I guess they already promised yuridum he gets a shot at the belt

Sorry Benavidez, money talks and right now you are not bringing it it and have shown twice now not to be dependable. If you had done what Canelo did after holding the undisputed #1 spot in all of boxing then things would be different but as society has shown us the rich get away with murder while we peasants pay the price.

Benavidez came in as a Heavyweight during the Roamer fight, that’s the primary reason why the WBC ranked him @ light heavy not b/c he was 3 lbs over weight during the weight in. Doesn't matter who you are coming in 3 divisions higher during fight night is dangerous for any opponent. The WBC did the right thing and should not backtrack on their decision.

That's where I'm at, although to be honest, if Charlo beats Dervy convincingly, I think he should get in the mix @ 168, and challenge Caleb Plant!

Benavidez should stay at 168. The light heavyweight division is full of sharks who can devour him.

I've thought this as well. He could be a threat at 168 if he manages to beat Dervy into submission and if little Charlo beats Rosario he could move up to 160 and kind of fall into place. It would be good for both divisions that way.

Benavidez and Plant is definitely the one to see though. I think it would be a great fight to watch and possibly bring out the best in both guys.
