Beterbiev vs Joe Smith is probably the same fight at Beterbiev vs Callum Johnson.

      Looks like Alvarez got out-brawled.

he'd always blast a guy like eleider alvarez because while alvarez is more skilled he doesn't throw much. he'd just wait there to counterpunch smith but only after smith has already unloaded his combos.

look what happened when smith fought a skilled and volume puncher like bivol...smith look lost.

I agree. It shows what heart and sheer will can accomplish when really applied.

Carl Froch was like that too. He didn't wow you at first but he achieved a great deal anyway.

I honestly thought Joe was going to lose after the second round because at the end Alvarez was timing Joe's left hook with his own counter left and he did that three times in a row. I'd say Joe has a simple but effective style and beating it is easier said than done. However I also expect that he's not going to be matched up against anyone with fast feet ever again.

Canelo would school him. Bivol beat him but he had that one outburst that hurt Bivol pretty good. He would drill Kovalev now.
Yup if Bivol vs Beterbiev doesn't happen then Beterbiev vs Smith would be a truly entertaining scrap while it lasts.
