Dillian Whyte doesn’t know how to protect himself

Dillian Whyte got knocked out because:

He threw a lazy overhand right without throwing a jab first

He didn’t bring his right hand back to the “hold the phone” position.

He pulled straight back on a line.

This is all boxing 101 no-no’s. Like first day of class stuff.

You always throw the jab first and never lead with a lazy overhand right.

You always bring your hand back after a punch to defend yourself.

You never pull back on a straight line.

If you do those things, you’ll get knocked out.

It’s day one of boxing 101 stuff.

Let’s stop pretending Dillian Whyte got caught by a lucky punch. He’s so flawed technically.

He said he got careless because he was going for the kill because he believe he had a hurt man in there.

Yeah he has very bad habits and can’t seem to stop them.

His corner told him to stop falling in and stepping over yet that’s what he did and that’s what caused him to get knocked out.

I thought you said it was because he was shot?

He stands too square due to his kickboxing background and he doesn't move his head at all. Bad combination.

He's pretty much always in good fights though. He certainly delivers on entertainment.
