The 90s was better skill wise, but with everyone so evenly matched in today's era, it makes for some interesting fights.

          Yes it was.

You can argue that those who said it were wrong but to me you sound just like them.

Every era is dominated by one person, hold the 70s, 90s and the Klitschko brothers era.

Tyson Fury is the one that dominates now.

Doesn't mean it is not a good and fun ERA but yes a lot of fans overrate Wilder, Fury and AJ

Yes I do think Fury is the most skilled of this ERA of Heavyweights but ultimately he too will suffer and embarrassing Defeat. He basically was knocked out in the 1st Fight with Wilder but he got up which shows his toughness but yeah this ERA is FAR from "GREAT"

People are overrating fighters simply because they're not The Klitschko's and yes this ERA is more Entertaining because it is not that great big disparity in talent like it was with the Klitschko's in which they was just so much better than everybody in their ERA

Ultimately either Dubois, Hrgovic, Jared Anderson, Tony Yoka, Efe Ajagba, Frank Sanchez...one of these younger guys are going to come up and just disrupt everything and throw this Division Off yet again so it is going to be a Roller Coaster of a Division which will make it fun to watch at least

Also need to see more of Usyk at Heavyweight and how much of factor he can be at that Division. Can't just write him off in this ERA so fast. I think he is too small for this ERA but we shall see.
                Agree with all this.

It's my favourite division really because there isnt a standout.

Fury is the best but like you say nobody will be that surprised if he gets wiped out one day. Its just what happens at heavy.

I think Usyk is a big problem for all of them

This is one of the better eras. Why people like to discredit I have no idea.

Go back in history and show me an era within the heavyweight division which didn’t include shocks or losses to the top end fighters?

There are many on here who massively underrated Povetkin on this forum but he is still a top quality fighter, there was clearly a question on his age. His performance against AJ, despite being knocked out - showed that he was still a good quality fighter capable of beating anyone in any individual night.

Despite what many would consider a top3 of Joshua, fury and wilder - there are others who can beat any of them with the right punch whether fans want to believe some are invincible or not.

Its an awful era. Fury is the only complete HW all the others have an abundance of glaring flaws and holes in their game.

I think in the not so distant future people Fury much like Wladimir during his reign will have no real competition.
