Oh god, or Smith vs Yarde at the Copper Box so I can see Frank's eyes bug out of his head when Yarde gets knocked into another dimension

YEP... He was traditionally a boxer then the media made him a KO artist...

Beterbiev would destroy him, but he would destroy anyone at LHW as we speak...

There is legitimacy to what he is saying though. What LHW's would you give a better shot of beating Beterbiev at this point? Smith at least has the power to make that interesting and we've seen Beterbiev dropped multiple times before. Smith also has arguably the best jaw at 175, so if anyone can stand up to Beterbiev's shots it would be him. Smith winning a slugfest or Bivol out boxing Beterbiev are the 2 most likely L's for Beterbiev right now imo.

Beterbiev been dropped before he's not untouchable

Hate to play the Transitive Theory here, but this kind of takes some of the luster off of what Kovalev is as of late

                  Beterbiev isn't God.

A blue collar, hard working, hard punching guy like Smith could have a chance against him.

It irked me so much to see US boxing media painting him as a KO artist since the first Kovalev fight.
Anybody who has seen him move up the ranks on the Quebec scene know that he is not a power puncher but yes, at 175lbs, anybody can go with a well placed/timed rear hand.

The Eleider from the Bute/Pascal era would have never tried to "slug it out" with Joe Smith, he would have moved and boxed and if the right hand presents itself...

That being said, huge props to Joe Smith!

This was pretty much an unofficial WBO eliminator, I can see Smith's team and Top Rank pushing for the WBO LHW title shot.
