However, Americans are still under quarantine which is the reason why the fight has been pushed back three times. Arum wants an audience; A live gate in order to maximize all revenue streams available because he stands to lose a lot of money on this fight because both Fury and Wilder have been promised guarantees.

The only way I can see this fight happening sooner is for Wilder and Fury to restructure their contracts to a percentage based contract only. This way the promoters won't have to assume all of the risks in case the pay per view tanks. Each fighter would receive a gross percentage of all revenue streams sold from the event; Which includes pay per view, close circuit and online streaming.

It’s tricky as I’m sure the terms of the third fight were already in place but were dependent on an assumed live gate.
If the fight happens in 2020 there definitely won’t be fans in the building.
At this point Wilder would be better off taking step aside money and letting Fury take other bigger fights.
Win or lose Fury/Wilder 3 will still be there.

If you look at what they are saying, that's exactly what they are trying to do. Set Fury up with a stay busy tomato can while avoiding the Whyte mandatory fight. Warren is throwing Dubois to Whyte to try and get him out of the way. Then Fury can go straight to the AJ fight after Wilder, or possibly after his next bum fight. The problem is, if he doesn't fight Whyte, he gets stripped or has to vacate so it's going to be interesting what happens after tonight if Whyte wins. And if Wilder holds put indefinitely, Fury could lose the belt by way of not fighting at all haha
