Furys not even close here , Whyte has won 11 in a row ,I expect 12 coming up . Povetkin would be top win for anyone and the crazies on here seem to not understand the notion of overating someone When the logic fails when including the top heavyweights .Comment

Overated compared to who or what? You become overated fighting nobodies, smashing them to pieces in spectacular fashion. Whyte has literally done more than seemingly anybody in the entire division to fight the hardest possible opponents he could fight. You simply don't beat a fighter like Parker, unless you have talent.
Now i'm not saying Whyte is this crazy elite, infact he still looks amateurish as heck when he comes forward. However on the backfoot, he throws some lovely catch / counter hooks. Sadly for him though, I think he'd need to pursue Fury, should they ever fight and likely walks into jabs and straights after the mid way point.
That doesn't mean he's overrated though and anybody who chooses (not mandated) to get into the ring with Povetkin, while risking their mandatory position and a 10+ million figure payday, commands huge respect as far as i'm concerned.Last edited by Articulateboxin; 08-19-2020, 09:54 AM.Comment

Whyte deserves his shot
Fury fangirls are trying to discredit Whyte's resume, undefeated record and mandatory position because they know their idol is going to duck. Again
Canelo was crucified for dropping the belt instead of fighting GGG, eventhough his reasons to "duck" that fight at that moment were far more reasonable than Fury's
I'm already expecting the memes after Fury ducks this guy againComment

The Dillian Whyte history:
October 28, 2017 - Becomes WBC #1, not mandatory
April 25, 2018 - Avoids WBC mandated fight with Ortiz. Fights Joseph Parker instead:
Dillian Whyte is no longer first in line for Deontay Wilders WBC heavyweight title, the governing body has said.
August 25, 2018 - Avoids challenge from Breazeale to replace Breazeale as WBC mandatory:
Heavyweight contender Dominic Breazeale (19-1, 17 KOs) is licking his chops at the idea of a showdown with Dillian Whyte (24-1, 17 KOs). Breazeale has been inactive since last December, when he knocked out Eric Molina in what was billed as a WBC eliminator.
October 9, 2018 - Avoids challenge from Ortiz to replace Chisora:
Last week top heavyweight contender Luis Ortiz responded to comments that were made by his rival Dillian Whyte to Sky. “I offered to fight Ortiz years ago, but he didn’t want to know. He didn’t even want to know this summer and asked for silly money coming off his knockout loss to Wilder, and made it clear that he wouldn’t be ready for July 28, which was the date we had available,” said Whyte.
January 13, 2019 - Avoids challenge from Joshua to replace Miller:
July 20, 2019 - Finally becomes the WBC mandatory after getting past Oscar Rivas amid PED and glove-tampering allegations.
Dillian Whyte has only Dillian Whyte to blame...Comment
