That's true there aren't many better but that doesn't make him a good boxer. Whyte is extremely limited like most heavies.
You claim the division is limited if so how do you overate someone comparing them to what you think is a limited group ? How does that work ? For someone to be overated you would need multiple guys who stand out in comparison not group him in with most heavies . Most overrated guys wouldn’t be on an 11 fight win streak . What is the overated criteria to others you have to overate then ?
To be fair, Whyte might be overrated. He's never had the opportunity to fight for a title despite being in line for a long time. And don't give me the bs about eliminators. He's in line - he's earned that.
At the same time I can understand why a Fury, Wilder, Joshua aren't going to volunteer to line up against him. He's about as dangerous as anyone in the division without the appeal to match the risk.
Basically, he's Ortiz with some credible wins on his resume.
Until someone takes him on, we won't know if he's close or not. But he's done all he can up to that point.

As previously said, he is seen as some sort of destructive monster who nobody dares to fight. It's just not true. He is amongst the rest. If you look at Whyte he is a very basic boxer with tremendous heart.

Who has a longer win streak then Whyte at heavyweight besides Fury fighting as a top 10 ? If you are overating Whyte ,you are doing it based on a made up position and then you would have to use a top 3 guy as a measurement which makes Fury not that good either if Whyte is overated when we can make an argument of Whyte being a Fury top win . The argument of overated is filled with fallacies ,it doesn’t work .
I agree here . Whyte is far younger and has consistently had good wins which people take note of Ortiz hasn’t won a win of note in 5 years . If anyone was overated on the forum ,well there you go a guy called the boogeyman with those factors against him .
Whyte had/ has previously held the WBC Silver and International title, British title, WBO International title and will be defending the WBC interim heavyweight title against Povetkin. What has Ortiz done ?
