He lacks both the confidence, life and fighting spirit of Golovkin. Once he can no longer have his way he often gets frustrated, shuts down and then becomes a broken fighter.

Kovalev was old washed up fighter with drinking problem and no chin.

Cotto was honestly old and past him prime too. He was 35 and his previous five fights before Canelo were:

1. L to Mayweather
2. L to Trout
3. W vs Delvin Rodriguez (nothing special)
4. W vs Sergio Martinez (old, inactive, coming off knee surgeries)
5. W vs Daniel Geale (nothing special, and at a catchweight)
