Just a friendly reminder for the “Canelo ducked” his own offer to Devry because the Krusher was smaller than Devry!

    And That’s all she wrote!

I wouldn't write him off for the simple fact that Kovalev is shot and Derevyanchenko has a hell of a style to put up with. Not to mention he's very technically sound in all departments so he could really do a number on him. I wouldn't have him getting outboxed badly for 10 rounds like Kovalev did just by pumping his jab very lightly.

Depends. Under the same conditions with the short turn around and the ridiculous weight restriction imposed I think he would have a very good chance. His chin is the question mark. He was knocked down by both Jacobs and Golovkin. Both knockdowns were of the not serious variety but it did put his opponents up by an extra point. If he can avoid this against Kovalev then yes he would beat him.

No because Kovalov was still beating a P4P top 5 boxer. And I don't remember Sergiy having even close to Canelo's power

          Be Kovalov UD.

I'd take Dervy by a competitive decision. I'm sorry but Kovalev is damaged goods at this point. He might not last a round against Beterbiev

Man casuals sure do think once a boxer loses he's dog sht...

Kovalov been in the game much longer and has about the same amount of losses to much better boxers.

kovalev was done. thats not a very good win for canelo. just the fact that some people think a mid level contender at 160 can compete with kovalev should tell you all you need to know

                    He would.

He arguably beat Jacobs and GGG.

Kovalev is 100 years old and doesn’t have a chin.
