AJ-Fury has more money even without a belt than AJ-Whyte. So, the sheer amount of $$ involved is tempting enough to make that fight if we get to normal levels (due to Covid-19). The only spoiler would be Fury losing to Wilder.

The talk was regarding Fury vacating the belt and refusing to fight Whyte if forced by the WBC. Instead, make the Joshua-Fury fight without unification vs Joshua-Whyte for unification.

AJ-Fury will have a global appeal while an AJ-Whyte would be UK only. Nobody wants that...not AJ, not Fury, not the WBC, not the networks, not Warren and Arum, and not even Eddie Hearn. I never said whyte will neat fury, rather he can upset the cart as he is a very strong contestant. Nevertheless, why drop a belt for a fight some fans see as walk over? He can as well don't train for the fight, enter the ring and beat the contestant up. That's how champs do.
