That's a fantasy, whyte is clearly a chisora / wach / Lucas brown level fighter.

Fury could go on a 2 year ******* bender , and weigh in at 500 pounds. And he'd still destroy whyte.
What difference does it make? Beat him if he is a walk over. There are many things that can stop a fight, whyte being an easy fight can't be one of them.
Hez a mandatory for crying out loud.

AJ-Fury has more money even without a belt than AJ-Whyte. So, the sheer amount of $$ involved is tempting enough to make that fight if we get to normal levels (due to Covid-19). The only spoiler would be Fury losing to Wilder.
I think the spoiler is fury loosing to whyte.

Fury is #1 until someone beats him or he retires, that's it. Even if Fury vacates, he's still the lineal/ring champion. Whyte can pick up the WBC from the bin if he wants to, but he'll be a paper champ, nothing more.

AJ fans know deep down what the score is, they know AJ has no chance against Fury. They won't admit it obviously, but they know.

Fury vs AJ is the only fight that matters, Dillian will have to wait.

        Exactly right.

Fury is the man to beat. The lineal champion. The boogeyman of the division. Anyone else is a paper champ. A pauper in the kings court.

That wasn't the point of discussion.

The talk was regarding Fury vacating the belt and refusing to fight Whyte if forced by the WBC. Instead, make the Joshua-Fury fight without unification vs Joshua-Whyte for unification.

AJ-Fury will have a global appeal while an AJ-Whyte would be UK only. Nobody wants that...not AJ, not Fury, not the WBC, not the networks, not Warren and Arum, and not even Eddie Hearn. I do believe Arum when he says that Eddie tells him different in private conversation and I think even Whyte knows that.

Guy you actually are in here arguing Whyte would beat Fury.

He is the smaller fish to fry, make no mistake, Fury erases Whyte if Whyte hasn't lost his mandatory position by the time its his turn to get that smoke.

But sorry to disappoint you, AJ will fight first who ever has the green belt for the undisputed. Fury fight will come later.

I never said whyte will neat fury, rather he can upset the cart as he is a very strong contestant. Nevertheless, why drop a belt for a fight some fans see as walk over? He can as well don't train for the fight, enter the ring and beat the contestant up. That's how champs do.
