Crawford's offensive skills are pretty good, but that man's defense is as leaky as my grandma's old rusty spigot in her backyard. He gets hit entirely too much with shots he really shouldn't get hit with. They put that Ricky Burns fight up on YouTube and while Crawford was beating him, Ricky Burns never stopped touching Crawford, no matter how badly he was losing. Gamboa was touching Crawford. Benavidez was touching him, Mean Machine, Khan landed a bunch of jabs. Even Hank Lundy was touching him. Ironically enough the three easiest fights he has had in his whole career since moving up to elite level were Postol, Indongo, and Horn which is completely backwards given they were champs at the time.

From what I see Crawford vs any top welter is a 50-50 fight until I see otherwise.

How does Danny deal with Crawford's footwork and jab? And how often will he be able to actually land?

I don't think Crawford will be as aggressive vs Danny as he was vs Mean Machine. I'd expect more of a Postol like game plan.

Maybe I have it all wrong but it seemed to me that Crawford messed around with the pretenders like Benavidez and Khan in contrast to when it was serious against title holders like Horn. Then he showed what he really had.

AND, Danny already beat the man in the ams. But since then, Danny's had way more experience against top, tough opposition than Crawford.

If Danny Swift throws his No Look Hook™ off a beautiful feint counter like he did Morales after Crawford rushes in like he did against Kavaliauskas, OR if Crawford is ****** enough to stand and **** with Danny, Crawford WILL get hit. That's when we'll know if he's packing glass.

Crawford gives Danny an absolute utter schooling, Swift loses TKO round 6.

Danny, the one that was outdone by Thurman and Porter and looked poor against Morales the old aged obese pensioner in the first fight.

In no way shape or form was Crawford 'messing' around with Benavidez that was one of his tougher fights, in all honesty I was shocked it was given Benavidez was one legged and never was a major player at 147, he was decent at 140 though.

What you're saying is that Crawford willingly ate punches. Don't agree. He plays around in every fight and eats punches. He can't do that against Swift and he has to engage. He's not going to be able to potshot him, Keef tried that and it almost cost him.

Danny threw half-hearted to lul Khan into a false sense of comfort, then timed him when he got overconfident. Same as Morales. The result was both spinning right round like a record. Swift could do that to Crawford because Smoke would definitely be ****** enough to take the bait.
