Manny will decide on who is right or wrong on this with who he chooses, lets see who he fights, TC GGG Mikey McTap or a B grader.

Me, as Pacquiao`s fan, would be ok with Mikey at 147 and Lomachenko at 140 as his last fights.
Crawford and Spence -Danny winner must fight each other for legacy.Comment

Serious question. So what's your opinion on Pacquiao as a boxer? I mean to you is he like a B level fighter who was just a product of matchmaking? Do you think he's a hall of famer? I mean obviously he'll be one the first second he's eligible but if you had a hall of fame vote, would you vote him in? On a scale from 1-10 (10 being the best) where do you rate Manny?————-
Facts are facts. BTW, nice try in the 8 division title.
Without context, any casual would be blown away.
That’s like saying Broner hasn’t lost at 135 so he must be one of the best at that weight.
It’s the same delusional thinking when Khan fans were trying to up sell their guy (to fight Floyd) because he has never lost at 147.
Just genuinely curious.Comment

While I agree that I too doubt it happens, and also agree that from the eye test that Crawford is superior to Keith -- their resumes still say otherwise. Keith has two victims on his ledger that are superior to any name Crawford has. Crawford's resume is sooooooo weak for a guy who is considered to be the best in the world. And Crawford is NOT invincible. By any stretch.
He had his hands full with Kavaliauskas. You know what the final punch stats (I know, everyone hates punch stats) were? Crawford landed 128 to Kavaliauskas' 118. And Kavaliauskas dropped Crawford (we all know that was a legitimate KD). And Pacquiao, even at 42, ain't no Kavaliauskas.
Crawford is undoubtedly a fabulous boxer, and he's a killer no doubt so don't get me wrong, but there remain very valid question marks.
that won't mean shlt if the fight is made
we can clearly see that Crawford is much better than Thurman
look what happened to Horn when he fought Crawford, he got treated like a second-class citizen during every second of that fight... Pac/Horn was a real fight, Crawford/Horn was just a exhibition-beatdown
you can also say the same thing about Pac, who has proven himself many times over... he has still never beaten a welter as good as Crawford
not writing off Pac, who is a legend... but I see Crawford being too tight/well-rounded for him at this pointComment

Pac is... a first-ballot HOF'er... and genuine ATG
keyword = genuine
nobody can deny that
but the GOAT talk is just nonsense, from clowns who know nothing about this sport
Pac is not even remotely close to being the GOAT, that shlt is just plain dumb... but he is absolutely a phenomenal fighter
so was the guy in my aviLast edited by aboutfkntime; 08-05-2020, 06:23 PM.Comment

and Mayweather is not the GOAT either
that shlt sounds just as dumb as when people say that about PacComment

Yep it just fans flying their flag, I dont believe there has ever been one guy that could beat ALL the others, the rest is just history with many greats before and many to come, to say one is better than them all is selling the others short, they were all great in this sport.Comment

Maybe Manny will fight the #1 ranked WW again (back to back).. while one of those 2 fights Manny's leftovers again (Horn and Porter). You mean pad out is career with guys like Rios Algeiri Horn Vargas.
Wouldnt it be better to get a big name thats limping, the fans dont care if Mannys opponents are POWs or coming off major surgery the name is everything, dumb rock fans just roll anywhere Manny wants.
Just saying a broken big name is worth more than a broken B grader, Manny has great experience in match making both types Im sure he will choose his next opponent wisely.Comment

I’m glad you asked me that question. I just thought you would reply cussing me out like 99% of Manny fans so I’ll respect that.
I think Manny is an incredible boxer. Just 126/130 divisions alone puts him in the HoF without a doubt.
Manny is incredibly polite as a human being and I believe Arum took advantage of that. That aside, after beating Cotto and Margarito (albeit at catchweights), Manny could have had a better list of opponents.
It was a joke to see him take on Rios. Even if he was coming back from a devastating KO. Rios is garbage as a boxer and had ZERO shot at beating Manny.
The same thing with Broner or Mathysse or Jesse Vargas. There were better opponents.
Also, there was no need to fight Mosley who was coming off a one sided beating from Floyd or Algieri. Be honest, prior to that fight, did you know who Algieri was?
Thurman was a great win. I can not discredit it. Even the loss to Floyd was nothing to be ashamed of. Manny gave a good account of himself. The better man won, period.
Manny could have literally fought the top 5 WW and beaten them without any catchweights. Look at the list of guys at WW and Jr WW from 2011 to 2018 and look at the guys he fought. Beating Thurman at 40 just tells you he didn’t have to go through mediocre guys.
Lastly and in response to your last question, Manny is a HoF boxer and an ATG.
I would have ranked him in the top 5 GOAT had he not fought those bums.Comment
