What makes Fury a special fighter?

Let's talk about what makes Tyson "2 fast" Fury special.

Is it his ability to switch hit on a dime and finish an entire fight southpaw?

Is it his lightning fast hand speed, reduced to a blur as he lets his gifted hands go with ill intentions?

Is it his adamantium chin, which gives the impression that he can walk through bullets?

Is it his otherworldly recovery ability, reminiscent of Wolverine?

Is it the way he gracefully floats like a butterfly and stings like a nuclear warhead, making Ali look like Angulo in comparison?

Is it the way he sticks and moves, with the reflexes of a cat and the speed of a mongoose, slipping shots like Locche and ripping his opponent to pieces with combinations like SRL?

Is it his ability to decimate his opponent in a phone booth fight, slipping and rolling, ducking and countering, giving and taking?

Is it his fearlessness and blood lust, his willingness to stand in the line of fire, the heat of battle, to swim in dark, turbulent, stormy waters and trade shots with full steam, ready to die?

    Discuss.

No one that size has ever been able to move the way he does.

        6'9....... feints, movement..... jab.

No heavyweight in history will be like Fury...... even if he loses he will go down as unique for his size and style.

He's big, awkward and has loads of confidence. There's no great mystery.

He's certainly not a great technical boxer. He's not exceptionally quick. Footwork isn't great. He's not a big hitter. Jab is good not great.

But he's a huge man with decent attributes.

At that size he would be a threat to anyone in history. But he's also very beatable.

One excellent win on his resume. One very good win.

His footwork is very intelligent. Obviously he isn’t going to look as nifty as small fighters but his balance and footwork is excellent. Even the way he shift his weight and can get into range with feints and a little two-step is so far ahead of any heavyweight right now. He’s has almost perfect balance to spring into range and step out of range at any moment.

If you can’t see that, you have a lot learn about boxing.

He beat Klitschko almost entirely with footwork just by offsetting him with his feet.

Also he has a very good jab. He probably has the most varied jab in heavyweight division today. he can use it as a strong jab, a rangefinder and even flicking jabs just to move fighters in to hi path. and also he changes the levels with the jab a lot, which are the heavyweights don’t do today. You will often see him bring it from the waist or conventional way and you he can change a jab into a hook at the last second.

His ring IQ is top notch too.

                I accept that.

I consider him to be bigger than Klitschko but it’s close enough that I’m totally down with saying Klitschko is the other one.

He moves incredibly for the guy of his size. And he has great skills for a heavyweight.
