Yeah they were washed at the time but Camacho had no business being at those weights, he was 5-6 same size as Manny who began as a featherweight and beat those guys above MW, he beat Duran twice.

Here is some of Hectors fights.

    Duran
    Leonard
    ODH
    Trinidad
    Chavez
    Haugen
    Pazienza
    Mancini
    Boza Edwards
    Rosario

Hector even fought Freddie Roach lol

Yeah as a super featherweight and lightweight Camacho was special to watch. To me it seems that after the Edwin Rosario fight he was never as dynamic as he was before that.

Yeah thats true, Rosario was a wicked body puncher, Hector was not shy on fighting anybody he fought so many big punchers.

And the saddest part to the whole story, a retired Hector being caught for burglary and drugs, a man of his ring history should be able to retire and live like a king, not end up a thief in shackles.

Wilfred was fighting Olympic Champions at 16 and Hall of Famers at 17, sparring with grown men as a kid by the time he was 30 he was shot and these days he's in a terrible state. On his best night tho, the best defensive fighter ever IMO

Without question; You're right. I am not saying that he defeated a prime Duran or Leonard. The only point I was making is that they are both wins on his resume. I agree those victories were pointless because neither guy was at full strength or at their physical peak.

              Burned out quickly.

He's almost like a Tyson, Bowe type figure where we talk about how great they should've been because their primes were short as fxck.
You're aware he turned pro at 15 and won his first World Title at 17. People didn't use Steroids HGH and IV flush back in them days to prolong their career or Cherry Pic has beens or fight once a year

Oh I know, the story about his high-school classmates watching him win the title in his hometown at 17.

But still, the guy didn't have the career those other guys did because of drugs.

                The '80s were his.
