He would be ok but I think Helenius would be a good test there. He is tough and is on the up swing after the Kownacki fight. I think if Ajagba managed to pull that off he would prove he belongs. Where Easy Breezy disappeared after the 1-2 lights out against Wilder.
If Ajagba beat Breazeale there is the argument he was done after Wilder. If he beat Helenius he is at least beating a tough fighter clawing his way back up.Comment

Helenius would not fight Ajagba unless they put him in an eliminator, and I don't think Efe has done enough to be in an eliminator. Efe needs Breazeale! He would be ok but I think Helenius would be a good test there. He is tough and is on the up swing after the Kownacki fight. err Whyte beating Parker I'd say was his best win and Whyte beat someone better than Jennings (ie who could beat him), Ortiz just beat Jennings.
Even the fact we're debating Whytes best win shows you something and even if you look at Rivas Whyte beat someone better than Jennings, Ortiz just beat Jennings.
If Ortiz wants to change track and starting beating the top guys i'm all in, say beat Ruiz .. PBC fight
.. so wheres the issue ?
Ortiz beat Jennings how many years ago and ........ nothing, I got nothing

Would be interesting matchups. If Ruiz comes in relatively decent shape, he should win although he's have to overcome Helenius' height and length advantage.
Ortiz a different fight altogether, it would be the first time the Cuban stepped in the ring against a live body not named Deontay. I could see King Kong winning the early rounds and possibly stopping Helenius; but then again I could also see Ortiz fading around round 6 and getting clipped by a Nordic bomb that puts his lights out.
Either way, would be good to see Helenius against either and figure out if he has another upset in him.
Both are good scraps to me, but I'd be pretty excited about Helenius vs Ortiz. I'd back Ortiz in that fight but if Helenius gets through him impressively, the hype train should rightly take off.
I want to see NSB go crazy over whoever they think will beat Fury. I got by on tears about Floyd for years and now the tears about Fury will quench my thirst.Comment
