Loma has 4 big wins in 15 fights. You can nitpick after the fact all you want, but at the time both Rigo and Walters were considered very serious tests for him. Russell Jr. was an excellent win in his third career fight, and Linares was a damn good win as well. He got put on his ass for the first time, recuperated, and then charged back to stop the larger opponent a few rounds later.

This should be his 5th big win against a far younger, larger up and comer. I'm confident in a decision win for him. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he has his share of difficulties, though. He's quite a ways smaller and, let's face it, he's no spring chicken anymore at 32 years old with the wealth of experience he has behind him. Should be a good, interesting match.

BUT honestly, when you look at his CV it's not a who's who, it's a who's HE?

Any time you talk about him fighting anyone actually good the "he's too big" excuses start.

Loma is so bad, every boxing "historian" has to create thread after thread, just to hear how dumb they actually are.

It does work that way so I will take that as you are trolling and have no answer, very weak on your behalf

Loma said that? I watched a video where somebody was interviewing Loma and they asked him if he thought he could beat Floyd. His reply was that he would have to study Floyd before he could answer that

              I Agree with you here.
While, I won't give Loma as much hate for the Walters win. I agree, the circumstances are indeed different: Walters was inactive while Postol was riding high off the Matthysse win (whose name still had some value back in 2015, eye injury aside).

That being said, given the amount of fights, I have respect for Loma's skills and what he has accomplished so far in the boxing game.
In retrospect, he deserves major props for the Gary Russell win because right now in 2020, nobody around 126lbs is making noise trying to take that WBC belt away from Gary.
The other day, Andre Ward and the ESPN crew all suffered amnesia during the Shakur fight when they discussed the 126, 130lbs current landscape.

You're a clown. Loma was old asf when he finally stopped beating on kids and went pro. His # of fights isn't special since he was old asf becoming pro. Tons did way more by his age. Don't forget Salido sonned him. A washed up and over the hill bum journeyman beat him.

I enjoyed Salido fights before the Loma fight. The guy was a face first fighter and tough as they came. Not too many skills, tho.

But you are right that he was over the hill and low level fighter at the point he fought Loma.

Funny how trolls like yourself say the amateurs are nothing like the pros when it suits you and then back flip when it doesn't suit your agenda, just admit you're wrong, fight numbers are the way to judge troll

He was old asf when he became pro - FACT. He got beat by Salido - FACT. His short # of fights isn't that impressive considering his age when trying to compare him to others - FACT. His resume still isn't that impressive - FACT. The only troll is you and dumbasses like you. You lack common sense and **** ride the dumbest sheeit.
