Sure you can. What he's already achieved is pound for pound worthy, and his skills/dominance obviously are. Doesn't mean you have to rank him #1, but he's in the pound for pound discussion clearly.

I have to disagree with you. Not only is his opposition not awful it is average for average the best of anyone fighting today. His opposition is so strong that he has earned a rating as either the best or 2nd best pound for pound boxer in the world in a record 14 pro fights. In just a hand full of pro fights he has won world titles at 126, 130 and 135. Every single guy he fights is either a world champion or a top ten contender. Name one opponent who was not either a champion or a top contender? You can't. Name any other boxer who faces as many champions in as few fights. You can't.

Lomachenko is a good fighter with no career defining fight. Not a single one.
Salido was a 3 time world champ, didn't know that is a journeyman.

Green K for saying that. I'm not even a Loma hater, or not at least a big one.

We can name plenty of fighters that had better resumes at the same age. We can't help the hype job was an older man fighting kids in the amateurs for so long. Also don't forget he was sonned by bum journeyman Salido...

Lol...this again. Name a fighter who faced that level of comp in a 12 rounder in their 1st fight. Not to mention it was a close fight that could have gone the other way, but haters wanna hang their hat on it like salido dominated.

Btw, where are all tank’s career defining fights? How long has he been a champion and hasn’t faced anyone? He young doe...

With only a handful of exceptions Lomachenko's pretty much only fought serious fighters who were major players or seasoned veterans with strong records in their respective divisions. It's just that he outclassed them all so much he made them look bad even though objectively they were all strong fighters. Troll thread
