Look, you want to make excuses for whatever reason. Fine. Most fans have excuses at the ready when their guys legacy is questioned.

Late to the party, chances are you don't get in.
I thought you were referring to Hopkins and the level of his opponents like Echels who he fought three times. You have to admit it wasn't the strongest out there. If you look at Hopkins resume at 160 during his record setting run there was no one on it that Golovkin wouldn't beat.

When will there ever be more than 10 quality guys IN A ROW, IN THE SAME DIV, worth fighting ?!?!?!

Padding the stats and then using ''no one wants to fight me''' for an excuse for STAYING PUT

He had some decent names. Better names than GGG. Shot Tito destroys everyone GGG beat with the exception of Jacobs.

If there aren't more that 10 quality fighters when Hopkins was a middle according to your logic he should have moved up to challenge himself. Hopkins who also got a late start as a pro didn't move up untill he was 40+ years old. Hagler and Monzon never moved up at all. Your bias is off the charts.

This was a crucial part of the fight, GGG had built up some considerable momentum at that point. I understand the fear of getting robbed, but GGG was hurting Canelo, I don't know why Abel couldn't see that.
Able has a one track mind and he can't adapt as a trainer or cornerman.

Hopkins and his resume towers over GGG's.

Yeah he's taller by a couple of inches. His resume at Middle was good but not off the charts. Tito would get crushed by Golovkin. So why didn't Hopkins move up sooner untill waiting till he couldn't make weight anymore.

Hopkins > by a landslide. Not much to add.
Tito > 99 % of everyone GGG beat.

Why did GGG wait so long to step up ?
No, let me answer that !!!
