The weight was a consequence of not putting everything on his camp, he undeniably underestimated pacman; all the signs were there and Valero gave them away, maybe people didn't believe, but bet you pac camp was happy with the rumors.
He probably party so hard that had no muscles or stamina to last the 12 rounds and had to lose the weight the last couple of days with the body not recovering. You can't blame dehydration just for the last day, it was a sequence of bad choices.
