this is better news.. if you look at recent events, he should be fighting Baldomir over Spinks.. if this follows through, then i'm happy to see this, he must've seen my sig
not to mention, this will be a more excited fight, match-up wise, then would be the case with Spinks
You sig makes no sense, because Spinks has beaten better competition than Baldomir and Margarito.

Isn't it kind of a "closed debate" now??
for the record, it does make sense... why shouldn't the #1-#2 P4P fighter in the world, Mayweather go after Spinks.. Spinks took out a 0-13 Ken Manuel... then turned around 7 months later and took out a 0-17 Ken Manuel... man is this guy PPV worthy or what!!!!
If the spinks fight goes through would you bet money on spinks winning the fight?
My thoughts are that Spinks and Baldomir both have little chance to beat Floyd Mayweather. I give Baldomir the better chance because KO's can happen at any moment. Spinks has to win at least 7 rounds to win the fight. Anybody can get caught with one punch.

He just beat the top rated fighter at 154.
Funny how you need to reach years back in an attempt to make a point.
Any way you look at it, he has a better resume than Baldomir and Margarito. End of story.
If you honestly think Baldomir is going to win more rounds than Spinks would, you're an idiot.
Styles do make fights, and Cory's boxing is more likely to see him present a challenge than Baldomir's crude slugging.
Baldomir will come forward, get picked apart, and won't win a round.
for the final time, Mayweather-Spinks would not have been as exciting as Mayweather-Baldomir, guarenteed
Baldomir def. has enough power to bother Floyd, granted i don't give him much chance to win, but i gave Spinks a much lesser chance because Spinks is the natural boxer, while Carlos is the puncher.. either way, the results the same IMO, with more excitement in the fact that Baldomir always has a "puncher's chance" while Spinks would just get schooled
it's the right move by Floyd, and he'll have much more of a fanbase going in and coming out than he would've if he had taken on the St. Louis native

Baldomir has almost no chance in this fight. He's crude, limited, and doesn't hit very hard.
Floyd will carve him up.
Corey Spinks definatly has a better chance of troubeling him with his boxing ability, and is capeable of winning some rounds.
Baldomir isn't.
A "puncher's chance" from a guy with 12 KO's in over 50 fights huh?
And now you're telling me Baldomir has a bigger fan base than Spinks? What kind of point is that? Neither bring a significant amount of fans to the table.
