Broner is the worst 4 division champ ever. Fought the worst champion in every class. Arguably lost to Paulie.

Broner wasn’t scared to fight people.

The chino maidana fight showed how much heart Broner had.

He got his azz beat and never gave up. But Broner never backed away from any fights.

He really doesn’t get the credit for this.

That doesn't really hold up to scrutiny either. Sure, he never gave up in that fight but that's a pretty low bar to clear considering that he was the favourite going in and it doesn't really blunt the fact that he was well beaten at the end of the day. Plus if he's got all that heart, where was it in his recent run of fights where he consistently gives up the initiative to his opponent and looks afraid to throw punches?

If the threadstater wants people to make fun of Almost Bumlevel, he doesn't have to be passive aggressive about it.

I hate Broner but man. He never backed off in the Maidana fight and the Mikey fight. He stood his ground in those fights and fought like a warrior. Too bad, he backpedaled against Porter and Pacquiao. I don't think you could stand your ground against those two anyway so he played it smart.

4 division champ and HOF is nowhere near ATG. He'll definitely get in.

I have no doubt that he would get in the HOF, I mean if Barry McGuigan can get in then Broner would, but his resume is pretty weak for a 4 weight champ.

Adrien Broner is a textbook example of what can be acheived in modern day, watered-down Boxing, with just a little hype and protective match-making. You can no longer use "multiple weight champion" as an outstanding acheivement, because belts are so easy to come by. We are approaching 200 different "World" titles in Boxing, it has to be put into context. Broner has a manufactured record, he has never come close to beating a top opponent, his best wins are robberies over B and C-class fighters. He is a mediocre fighter who will go down as such. Only an idiot would fawn over Broner's promoter's success in helping him rack up meaningless alphabet titles whilst never coming close to being the best in a division.
