How come Liam Smith was more aggressive with Canelo than GGG?

A jab is a punch if it lands clean it's a scoring blow. After the the first fight I gave Golovkin 1 point for every two jabs that he landed even if it stopped Canelo and/or snapped his head back, and one for every power punch. I did the same for Canelo. Then I looked at who was the aggressor, defense and ring generalship. It confirmed what I saw. Golovkin won the fight.at the end of a round if a fighter lands 2 or 3 punches more than the other judges wont know cuz they dont count every punch (jabs even less)... you ever seen a judge take a note every time a punch lands ?
this is pro boxing not amateur, you should know the difference by now...Comment

Liar! You ignore defense, body work, and combos.A jab is a punch if it lands clean it's a scoring blow. After the the first fight I gave Golovkin 1 point for every two jabs that he landed even if it stopped Canelo and/or snapped his head back, and one for every power punch. I did the same for Canelo. outworking by 2 or 3 punches ?? nah, unless they are using compubox on their phones i really doubt it...
like i said when the gap is evident then i agree they have to consider that, but on a close round 2 or 3 jabs are not going to give you the round...Comment

They certainly can be the difference... and I can quote you direct from the ABCs Ring Officials Certification program.
SCORING THE BOUT
As a professional boxing judge, your analytical skill is to recognize and acknowledge any advantage one participant is having over the other. At any given point of a round, you must know who is winning. At the conclusion of the round, the contestant who has won the round, no matter how minute the margin, is entitled to that round. The difference might have been a single jab, or a defensive move, yet it was still enough to give that boxer the edge.Comment

Heres what I said
"Then I looked at who was the aggressor, defense and ring generalship. "
No I didn't ignore the other aspects of boxing.
Honestly I'm starting to think you have a screw loose upstairs. How many times have we had this conversation. How many times do I have to point out that my score and your score which both had Golovkin winning only differed by one round. Are you just in a bad mood today??Comment

It’s because as I keep saying, the GGG diehards score it 1:1. They think the judges thought GGG and Canelo went in there to play tag.Comment

Canelo may as well played tag because he couldn't hurt or buzz Golovkin. His best strategy was Togo to the ropes and wait for a countering opportunity that rarely came. Golovkin must have been laughing inside. How many times is this idiot going to the ropes. Again??? Ok then if that's what you want. I'll just stay in the outside stick to the jab and an occasional right hand and make you look like a dumbass.Last edited by TonyGe; 06-24-2020, 05:44 PM.Comment

so you honestly think that by the end of the round a judge has the account of every punch landed ??They certainly can be the difference... and I can quote you direct from the ABCs Ring Officials Certification program.

Exactly. I’m telling you bruh, the ggg diehards expose themselves thinking pro boxing is 1:1 “landed” punches, and they even count grazed... you’re talking about a fanbase that pushed “PAC beat Floyd in slow motion” videos.Comment
