I believed in Moorer too. Couldn't believe it when he lost to Foreman.

Pacquiao v Mayweather - I thought that I thought Pacquiao stood a good chance in there, but I realised I just really wanted Mayweather to lose haha. After the fight, I rewatched it immediately and it was likes the scales fell from my eyes. OF COURSE Mayweather was always going to win that fight, he was the bigger man, with a style that neatly nullifies Pacquaio

Thought subriel matias looked really solid vs dadashev. Great pressure, powerful punches. Good stamina. Could see him give a lot of fighters trouble and then he lost against a 17.00 underdog (Who wasnt actually bad).

For the Floyd fight I have an excuse as I was still a casual, quite young and ******. People in the UK all thought Ricky would win, I remember overhearing people at the shopping mall saying "Ricky will do that Flint Mayflower by bodyshot in the 6th", stuff like that.

I honestly should have known better by the Pac fight though, but somehow I bought the line that mayweather Sr had made Hatton a master boxer and that he'd be "too big" for pacquiao.

            Dearie me
Hatton was the real deal, he just wasn't an all time great like Pac and Floyd. Let's not forget that those are the best fighters over the last 20 years. When he was undefeated, he gave Floyd a good fight for 6 rounds or so.

Mine was Jeff Lacy. I wasn't a big fan but I believed that he was so much more than he actually was

He dominated Byrd before he tore the shoulder. Literally didn't lose a round.

Vitali was FAR from a hype job.

                  He wasn’t dominating.

Why did he ask to be pulled out of the fight? so many fighters have carried on with that injury or the corner would have to pull them out, but vitali asked for it

Byrd was starting to put it on him and he didn’t like it and looked for a way out.

The way he asked for the fight to be stopped in the corner was not the actions of some warrior.

He wasn’t a hype job but if it come down to it, he showed he wasn’t willing to go into the trenches. Someone like Fury would’ve taken him into deep waters and made him quit. Lennox Lewis was starting to turn the tide and would have done the same but it didn’t matter because he caved his face in anyway.
