Pretty sure at one point I thought Verdejo and Frankie Gomez the best prospects in the sport...

      Gomez could’ve been, who knows?

He’s only 28, maybe he could return

I got on Josh Kelly hype train pretty early and i know he is still undefeated but I have to pump the breaks this dude. He has good reflexes but it seems he is neglecting fundamentals because of his physical gifts.

Why did he ask to be pulled out of the fight? so many fighters have carried on with that injury or the corner would have to pull them out, but vitali asked for it

Byrd was starting to put it on him and he didn’t like it and looked for a way out.

The way he asked for the fight to be stopped in the corner was not the actions of some warrior.

He wasn’t a hype job but if it come down to it, he showed he wasn’t willing to go into the trenches. Someone like Fury would’ve taken him into deep waters and made him quit. Lennox Lewis was starting to turn the tide and would have done the same but it didn’t matter because he caved his face in anyway.
Lol I would lump Lewis in the conversation too If I were you.
Byrd didn't do sh$t until Vitali injured the shoulder. Simply avoiding a bunch of punches while not landing your own doesn't win fights.

Funny how all history gets revisions these days lmmfao

Gamboa, I thought he was the second coming of Ray Leonard. He had the speed, power and combos to be great.
When he pulled out of the Brandon Rios fight, I was like WTF. He should have won that fight easy and he crapped the bed by ducking that fight and sign to 50 cent (one of the worst decisions in history)

Provodnikov, thought he was better than he was. He was a lot like Gatti though, maybe that is why I liked him. Makes you realize how good Gatti was that he could have so many great wars before the wheels fell off.

If you watched boxing, you would have known, Ricky was utter SHIIEEETTT at 147lbs. How can you tell you ask? Did you watch his fight against Luis Collazo at 147lbs??? He nearly got knocked out. What did Ricky do? Go back to 140lbs where he was undefeated. He beat Juan Urango (whatever), and stops an over the hill Jose Luis Castillo. Then what? Floyd says, come back up to 147lbs! A fight of the undefeated fighters!

I KNEW Hatton wasn't going to win the second I knew the fight was at 147lbs where Collazo already nearly knocked him out. How could Ricky turn down the money though and chance to fight Mayweather? Oh well, he fell for the bait.
