Thats a massive difference and you are right height doesnt make up for skills but we arent talking about a lumbering uncoordinated 6'9 guy. Fury is very skillful, as skillful as Ali. Nah, not the young version of him but I didnt say Fury would definitely beat that version. The Ali from the seventies relied on his ability absord punishment too much and wear guys down. Fury has proven he can sling leather the entire fight.
he looked awful at times against Wilder who is far from good technically(he looked like a big oaf whenever he just stood there & let Wilder hit him with his 2 piece throughout the fight,it was baffling to me why he did that (it wasn't your average 1-2,it was completely telegraphed punches by Wilder(Wilders bread & butter,& same thing Fury was all over the previous fight)Last edited by kushking; 10-10-2021, 05:12 PM.

Tbh as much as I think fury is overrated, I think he beats Ali purely based on the size difference. He would outweigh Ali by like 60 pounds, so he would just bully and rag doll him around the ring, use all that weight on Ali.

Fury struggled to put a gassed out wilder away does anybody seriously think he'd get close to a prime ali without looking ridiculously ****** and eating straight rights all night long?
Ali haD head movement from all angles going backwards forwards and could throw combinations to match a prime pacquiao that's literally how good he was
Ali had everything..an atg chin speed movement timing combinations elusive and had an underrated right hand
Fury would be looking for Ali all night long
I feel like most posters only watch alis second coming fights when he was on the decline..if we are talking prime no heavyweight that's been born can beat Ali

He had the combinations of pacquiao(when he got someone hurt) and the timing of mayweather all from any angle ,going forwards or backwards mixed with head movement and unmatched foot speed. great stamina and an atg chin
Alis laser right hand would be placed on the sweet spot every time fury committed
it was be embarrassing for fury

In a trilogy they'd both register wins. In a one off fight not sure who to pick. But that don't harm Ali as Ali still better wins and is the goatLast edited by hugh grant; 10-10-2021, 05:59 PM.
