When you consider that Canelo really didn't do great ppv numbers historically when he doesn't have a strong b side, they want to get paid if they're bringing something to the table. Rocky fielding was a complete nobody who was ko'd in 1 round by Smith and he cleared over a mil vs Canelo.
Didn't do great PPV historically? Canelo lowest PPV buys was 400,000 against Lara, all other bouts brought at least 500,000 including going over a million on 3 separate occasions until he signed with DAZN. Smith brings nothing to the table, you talk about Brits bringing in buys and subscribers, the only problem with that is that PPV in the U.K is only 19.99 so even if they get 1 million buy's it's really not that much money. So yeah, 10 to 12 million offer is more than enough, to even say Smith is worth more than that, is a stretch.

floyd did over a mil vs Robert guerrero. Do I really need to say more? Now look up Canelo vs angulo, khan and Liam Smith. Canelo didn't even hit 1 mil with Cotto. Stick to typing "firssst" like a 13 yr old chic or trying to pretend to talk like you're a black female and leave the boxing talk to the adults.

Canelo vs angulo 350k, Canelo vs Lara 375k, Canelo vs Liam Smith 300k, Canelo vs khan was stated at 460k and then Oscar said "around 600k" but then golden boy & hbo decided to never release the official #s, so what does that tell you?

Floyd NEVER had these consistent issues cLenelo has with making fights due to bad offers. Never. Floyd simply did not have that issue. Why oh why is cLenelo constantly in this mess that his step-father Floyd didn't have to deal with? Fighters have ALWAYS wanted to get paid. Fighters have ALWAYS chased big names for bigger paydays. Strong B sides have ALWAYS resulted in more revenue. So what's the issue cLenelo seems to be afflicted with here? What could it be? This whole "he doesn't deserve" mess is new and started amongst you casuals, fanatics, and racists after the Floyd era was over. It's nonsense.
All that said, Smith has a promoter that should be giving him a guaranteed amount per fight. Canelo already receives a predetermined purse due to that contract with dazn. Where is Smith expecting more money to come from? Which brings the question of whether dazn expects canelo to split his purse with opponents OR does dazn offer up additional money for opponents?
Either way things have hanged across the entertainment industry as a whole, which includes sports. Athletes who weren't already locked into fortunate, guaranteed, contracts- can't expect the same earnings potential right away. Chances are the fight takes place on Telemundo anyways because dazn is on life support.

Love when people drop numbers and facts! The clown you're educating is intentionally ****** and a clear racist with a grudge against Blacks...something about coming home and finding his GF "busy" one rainy night.

The mistake these fighters are thinking is that they’ve got any kind of say. Canelo is guaranteed a certain amount of money whether it’s against Callum or against one of us. There’s zero leverage. Let’s be real, the amount of new fans some of these guys bring in is negligible. Most people who even know who BJS even is have DAZN for AJ and Canelo already. You can overpay GGG because the man was a legitimate dominant force and should he fight Canelo (and win), he’s on the network for another lucrative fight..with said Canelo. Likewise for Jacobs with some of the other fighters. It’s done to lock in most the best fighters in the division so you dont have the hot divisions that Canelo is marauding in devoid of good fighters. Otherwise you’re in Charlo’s spot with zero credibility or opponents.
Mike Tyson did great ppv numbers vs anyone, mayweather did over a mil ppv buys vs guys like victor Ortiz and Robert guerrero, pac did over a mil vs a returning from suspension Margarito. Canelo didn't even hit a mil vs Cotto.

yeah, he's a goofball and gets sonned on a consistent basis. That's why he changes his name every few months and has almost 14000 posts in just a yr and a half but 0 rep to show for it.
