The amazing thing with Pacquiao is his legacy got enhanced since he moved to TBC. If he takes on either Crawford, Spence or even GGG and manages to win at his AGE & height/weight disadvantage, that would solidify him as a top 5-10 fighter.

Clearly, can't be top 3 or 5 right now with losses to Marquez, Mayweather , early fights in Philippines, Morales... Everyone knows Horn and Bradley don't really count
Boxing isn't your subject you should talk algebra or quantum physics or nuclear physics, something you know more about like Pythagoras therum or something
Yes Pac can be GOAT with losses to jmm and floyd. Where do you get off with making up silly rules as you go along? What rule you going to make up next? Maybe you have to be unbeaten to be a candidate for being goat?
Ali and srr and Armstrong lost to worse fighters.

Right. So, say, Roberto Duran is not an ATG because he lost to Kirkland Laing.

I have no doubt Pac is a great fighter but where he ranks among the hundreds of other great fighters he fought before him I don't know and doubt anyone in this thread knows either. If I saw some good film on a past fighter I could make a guess how the fighter compares with Pac but there are hundreds of great past fighters I have never seen fight. There were some great boxers before there was a way to film them back in the 1800s.
I always find it interesting how when there is not film it's postulated we need it, however, when dealing with boxers we have ample film on no one posts film as evidence of greatness but rather records and ranks, both of which we do have from the filmless eras.

People are going to come into this thread, if they haven't already, talking about who May beat, when he beat them, who Pac beat, when he beat them, who beat Pac, and how. None of which are film studies.

Conversely anyone posting film along with studied text is disregarded as having drank the kool-aid of the eye test.

I don't really like trying to rank fighters in numerical order. It's just too subjective. Not only are you asking me to compare different weight classes, you are asking me to compare fighters from different eras. To be fair I haven't seen enough of very many of the fighters that fought before the 80's. I prefer to just give my opinion on whether the fighter is an ATG or not. Ali, Louis, R Robinson, SRL, FMJ, Dempsey, Marciano and yes, Manny Pacquiao are all ATGs in my opinion but please don't ask me to rank them in order. It is too tall of an order for someone that doesn't have EXTENSIVE knowledge of boxing history

For me Manny was the GOAT, at least in the modern era.

I'm being highly subjective i know, but he is my favourite fighter and you have to respect his achievements at 41 years old in a young mans division.

I would rank him wherever you rank Floyd, in my opinion, they are side by side.

For me, that's a top 10, top 15 spot just in terms of achievements.

You can’t talk about boxing greats without thinking of Sugar Ray Robinson, Mohammed Ali, Mike Tyson, Oscar De La Hoya, Pacquiao...these are all guys that stand out from the rest because they were extraordinary

I know it makes you happy to say all this, even though you don't believe anything of what you say, but it makes you feel better about yourself be able to handle the day and get through day better. So even the fact that you know nobody believes you even believe even one word of what you, although.disappointing to you. That won't stop you, as trolling makes you feel better.
If that's what you got to do who am I to knock you?
Btw, are you in your bedroom by any chance, as even a internet cafe would be too risky writing what your writing in case someone looking over your shoulder.
                      We both know that
