Who cares what Spence says. Didnt he realize that more than half the fans in Dallas wanted him to lose to Mikey. Was he mad about that. If he fought Pac in Dallas i bet the crowd would be more for Manny. He just needs to shut up and try to start fighting.

The common tactic had always been and will continue to be the denial of any racism be it systemic or categorical. As with fight club, the first through third rules of white supremacy is “we do not talk about (acknowledge) white supremacy.” That is what I like to refer to as “code.” And the code is breaking, slowly but surely. And as I learned as Soldier in my career in the Army, under stress the human mind will fall back to its training and people like this have trained themselves to go back to what they always have relied on....denial....it’s not just a river in Africa...
Look at this black supremacist spewing more BS. Do you even believe the BS you type?GhostofDempsey likes this.

There is a reason uk black actors go to the USA for roles.
--------------------------------------
It's the same reason UK white actors go to the USA for roles; it's because the US has a vastly larger and better-paying film industry.
White Patrick Stewart was a respected RSC actor in the UK, but little-known and paid peanuts. He goes to the states, gets a role on a syndicated TV show, becomes a house-hold name, earns a fortune, makes lots of movies. It's a story as old as the hills. Thousands of movies gets made in the states each year, whereas the British film industry has been on its knees for decades. Race has nothing to do with it.
Please cite me some credible statistics showing the US has a better incarceration rate for black people than the UK. I would be staggered if you can.
The UK has a number of world-champion boxers. The biggest, most popular is Anthony Joshua. When I was growing up Frank Bruno was the biggest and most popular. Lennon Lewis was well supported in the UK despite not really being very British and being black. The British fight fans do not treat go in for supporting the white guy over the black guy -- that is, as far as my eyes and ears go, far more an American thing.
Given Spence was talking about supporting nationalities not race, I really don't want to make this about race. That said, as far as history goes, comparison between the UK and the US is not at all as you suggest. Slavery has never been legal on British soil. Ever. Slavery in the British colonies was abolished a full thirties years before the US abolished slavery. Think about that. 3 decades. A whole generation. I'm not saying racism doesn't or has never existed in the UK. Far from it. But the US had racial segregation as law right up until 1964. That's on another level to the UK, which as never a legally sanctioned system of segregation (once again, not saying discrimination didn't and doesn't exist).

In the blue corner, Errol "Herd Mentality" Spence. How dare some people have their OWN opinion about who they like which is not based on colour (correct spelling, ty). We live in strange times, Eroll

Specifically, Black people are 3% of the population but account for 8% of of the in custody deaths. That’s over twice represented. In comparison, white percentages show no more than 1 percentage point fluctuation. https://www.statista.com/statistics/...-by-ethnicity/
Shall we show the percentages of university graduates? Members of police departments? The numbers of CEOs? Political seats?
I never mentioned slavery or segregation. The UK is far more unofficially segregated in terms of power/economics than the USA is.
And in terms of entertainment, (which seemed to be the one and only area you concentrated on which is telling in itself) Would there have been a Will Smith? Samuel Jackson? Rock? Denzel Washington? etc etc in british film?
The original point was that the uk is extremely skilled at deflecting introspection at internal racism....and it is. Hence the reason so many have woken up to it in recent days. There are statues of slavery getting the royal treatment to permanent baths to speak on that account.
Where are blacks more successful overall? The uk or the USA?

That's why Mexican fighters born in United States are intelligent in repping Mexico. Floyd panders to right wingers yet they still won't purchase TMT Clothing & he's broke, instead they rooted for Conor + gave excuses like TBE's a women beater yet MysticMac accussed of **** etc
Tony Ferguson @ press conference before Khabib fight got cancelled said this is America yet lighter skinned Russian Nurmagomedov was cheered above Cucuy since's he's just another Mexican.Racism existsLast edited by Mr.365; 06-16-2020, 10:43 AM.

It isn't England vs the USA. It's Fury vs Wilder. Man against man. Fans should just root for the boxer they like best even if he is not from their country and that is what most fans do. If an American roots for an American boxer they don't even like then so be it. The better man will still win the fight. As an American boxing fan I only root for American boxers I like. If I like the boxer from a different country more than the American he is fighting I root for him. I rooted for Pacquiao to beat every American he fought.
