It doesn’t matter if he’s earned it in your eyes or not. He warned it by becoming WBO and Undisputed champ at the division below, and then moving up. I’d argue that Usyk has earned it over any of the other mandatory challengers at heavyweight.

Usyk wants to fight AJ for the WBO title, plus AJ's other 2 belts.

Whyte wants to fight Fury for the WBC title.

They wouldn't want to fight each other for a devalued version of the WBC title instead, if Fury gets "promoted" to Franchise champion.
They would fight each other for that belt. And all the organisations have to do is agree a deal with each other. As has been done before.

Based on injury, leading to lack of activity and then a very poor first showing at HW. I would rather he face a good contender first. If he outclassed Chisora, then I'd be all for him getting the fight, but I think Chisora gives him all kinds of problems.

Of course Chisora gave Whyte all kinds of problems as well, but Whyte has beaten former HW champion Parker, as well as other good wins like Rivas.

It would be a fantastic exhibition of talent, speed, chess moves, slips, parries, feints, and finesse. A real gem.

Yes, the headbutt win against Parker, and the dianabol win against Rivas. Who could forget?

Wasn't Whyte offered a fight against Usyk last year and he turned it down? It's hard to keep track of all the fights that he refuses.

It's funny how many people say they love boxing, but consider anything other than a war to be boring. They may not have as much replay value, but I love watching the sweet science. I rewatched Fury/Klitschko last week and got really into it.

Whyte has already said he isn't interested in fighting Usyk, because he isn't a big enough name. Usyk has never said anything about wanting to fight Whyte. If two guys aren't interested in fighting each other, there's nothing the sanctioning bodies can do about it.

But why would the WBC and WBO want to co-operate on a Whyte/Usyk fight anyway? What's in it for them?

I'm not sure how people on this thread are forgetting this. I thought it was a well known wbo rule.

All this waffle is just that.. a load of waffle.

You will all be stepping aside for AJ and Fury if both fighters come through the respected fights unscathed..

USYK most definitely will be. Hearn will make sure of that.. The lads not even established as an heavyweight fighter yet and he's on a Mando recognition.. I understand the weight below but still for the lads trying to get up the ladder...

                      Unbelievable Jeff....
