That would be nice, but unfortunately, there's no way it's going to happen, because Whyte and Usyk are mandatory challengers for 2 different titles .. Whyte for the WBA and Usyk for the WBO.

I like Fury and Usyk but that has the making of an amazing build up and awful fight. They'll both dance round each other for 12 rounds, easily the most skilled boxers out there but I wouldn't expect a lot of punches more one for the purists.

I favor Usyk and if he beats AJ, Fury vs Usyk will be the biggest fight in boxing.

They can change the rankings as they please and I believe this will be the compromise offered to all parties. This will leave all four satisfied imo. I personally don't think Usyk has earned a mandatory shot, if he fought and beat Chisora then yes, but he has had one fight at HW and didn't set the world alight with his performance.

Usyk has done nothing a heavyweight 'He needs to fight and beat Chisora before piping up'.

Yep, Usyk and Whyte can certainly make the situation less straight-forward.

They can't change mandatory challengers as they please, they don't co-operate with each other like that anyway, and it wouldn't leave Usyk and Whyte satisfied.

Usyk wants to fight AJ for the WBO title, plus AJ's other 2 belts.

Whyte wants to fight Fury for the WBC title.

They wouldn't want to fight each other for a devalued version of the WBC title instead, if Fury gets "promoted" to Franchise champion.

He won the WBO title a weight class down. That's all you need to do to get a mandatory shot a weight up with the WBO.

Cause that’s not how things work in boxing.

And I don’t see how beating Pulev would show he’s fighting the best.

I'm sure they will. It's only fair to the mandatories.
