I'm a Floyd fan but the fanboys keep going on about Pac s cw when Pac has more than made up for it by fighting another 11 years and helped preserve his career a little. Pac just used it adjust to the weight acclimate slowly. Look at nelo before he fought ggg!

Floyd on the other hand used it to keep unbeaten record. He used it at end of career, which should have been legacy fight, why not go out guns blazing you ain't going to have much more opportunity to write your story. Whereas Pac did have, he wasn't defined by those CW wins as much as Floyd is. Circumstances much difference. Floyd not made up for it. Didn't campaign at 154 for another 11 years like Pac did at 147.

As an unbiased observer I could see Floyd should be criticised much.more for his cw. Nel o was green and no notable wins. Cotto and dlh much.more experienced campaigners at highest level.

You dont make up for draining guys, that never goes away just like refusing a PED test and walking from the biggest fight in history will never go away, its written record.

Manny has manipulated the weight of a whole bunch of fights and he did it to to handicap his opponent.

So how do you have a CW , when its a contracted weight not the normal of either guy. when there are penalties for not making weight above the standard commission penalties .

It is you that dont know what you are talking about.
No, thats not parroting media terms because that is the definition of a catchweight. Middleweight is between 155-160, as long as its in the contract that it is set at 160, that is called the Middleweight weight limit, and the fighters can go under, he can weigh in between 1-160 as long as its in the weight limit but he cannot go over.

But if it set between 155-160 like 158 that is a catchweight, it is fixed on a certain weight not in the maximum weight of the middleweight. So, theres no such thing as a ****ing 147 catchweight, thats ****ing ridiculous.

So once again, you dont know what the hell you are talking about.

When a 140 guy fights a 154 guy at an agreed weight anywhere outside of their weights and its contracted its a CW , the weight was a big issue in the fight negotiation .

The criteria is a Contract with special weight clauses, you dont have this in standard divisional matches.

Your idea is a 140 guy fights a 154 guy at 146 or 148 is a CW but 147 isnt,, it has nothing to do with the divisional weight limit and everything to do with an agreed upon contracted weight , the agreed contract is key.

I know how the term is presented in the media and in general chit chat but in court room legal its not how you think.

I don't think ggg even deserves such a fight and to share the same ring as pacquiao. Pacquiao has jumped so many divisions, and this fraud never took such risks and cherry picks his fights.

No, because 147 is not a catchweight, thats at Welterweight limit. Read between the lines. If you are going against the media definition of a catchweight because you dont like Pacquiao, that is your problem.

Homie you are not a Floyd fan and you ARE a major Pacboy. That's okay - nothing wrong with it.

Pac a HELLUVA fighter...an ATG and Top 25 EVER. That's incredible.

Its goofy you parading around like an unbiased fan tho ????

Pac had phenomenal matchmaking in his career. He was an opportunist and this talk about draining GGG to 154-155 is yet another opportunity to add a name to his resume even if the context is poor.

Pac beating Canelo means more legacy wise than Pac beating GGG. Theres not much of a debate either. For what its worth I don't think Manny beats either as the Thurman fight was close and Thurman isnt much of a fighter tbh

You make out Pac fighting one of the top 2 middleweights is a cherrypick? Since when has Floyd even fought a 160 guy, even a top 30 one? The standards for Pac are higher we keep getting reminded.
Nel o might be a bigger legacy fight but your splitting hairs, the main thing is they are both as tough as each other to beat. They both got equal chance of killing pac.

Either one will be best win of all time. But you of course want Pac to fight nelo as you think he's got a better chance of beating Pac, and is a badder style match up for pac. So you can boast Floyd beat nel o easy and nel o koed pac, admit it! You secretly think Pac is a bad style for ggg and Pac could pull it off against ggg!

So enough with the catchweight argument. Is this fight going to happen? Hope so Boxing needs a few major fights to get back on its feet when this covd stuff goes away.
