The only fight that you mentioned then which was a catchweight was the Margarito fight at 150. A catchweight is when you agree a weight that doesn’t fall into the 12 weight divisions; Margarito compromised in weight to get the payday and pacquiao fought at his highest weight ever. You shouldn’t win a title at a catchweight - there’s no defending that. As ever though, Pacquiao lining up fights you’d expect him to lose. Clottey and DLH both agreed to fight at welterweight, where they’d both been successful before. Sure they’d have preferred to fight at 154, but Manny jumped from 135 for that fight. Nobody expected him that fight and i thought less of Oscar for picking a smaller fighter for big payday. He was lining Ricky Hatton up to fight at Wembley in London around that same time.

I can't see how Pac beats ggg. Ggg hits too hard and Pac s too small. Ggg won't have to wear Pac down it only takes one shot.
Pac s a former flyweight. The fact he beat thurman at WW at 41, having started flyweight is stuff of myths and legends.
To beat a middleweight I can't see it being done. And Pac would need to retire after win or lose as it will be hard and you won't be thevsameLast edited by hugh grant; 06-05-2020, 11:44 AM.
