  • Roach sees the same thing many of us do.

GGG is 38 years old and declining rapidly, he thinks GGG would be ripe for the taking.

They would also pull some dehydration clause crap, so I think GGG wont go for it and rather fight some soviet auto mechanic for his DAZN guarantee money.

GGG had 8 fights in the last 4 years.

    His only definitive wins are:

    Dominic Wade
    Kell Brook
    Vanes
    Steve Rolls

His actual losses, counted or not, are:

    Jacobs
    Canelo
    Canelo
    Derevyanchenko

That is an atrocious record, 4-4 for an alleged champion. Roach knows hes got another Margo on his hands here, although a bit less skilled but even larger framed.

Roach already seen Naazim bust Tito and Margo. He knows he got eagle eyes. They dont cheat every time. They cheat when they think they need it and when they think the risk is worthwhile. Cheating against Naazim is very high risk of getting caught and Roach is an experienced cheater.

They made Oscar came down to 147, Clottey (no corner) and rehydration clause, and Margarito (Manny used illegal handwrap to f'up his eye socket) and fought him at 150lb for the 154 title.
Clottey was not a catchweight, nor was Oscar. Oscar was the A-side

Clottey had a rehydrate clause. Oscar fought at 154 and 160. He agreed to a catch weight of 147. That is not his weight.

We are talking about the Margarito's fight. ****m is Mosley's trainer not Margarito.

In fact, Margarito was caught with something different. Margarito loaded is gloves, while Pac stacked his.

This fight won't happen.

I don't limit GGG's chances to KOing Manny, he can outbox him. G isn't just a puncher, some people underestimate him. Plus it's not like Manny stands a chance of dropping G.
I don’t imagine it would but I think way too many people are sleeping on Pacquiao’s savvy ness in negotiations of fights with questions marks not in his favor.

These are the things people are over looking when imagining Pacquiao fighting GGG.

They think it’s going to be a straight forward match. Not one bit. Pacquiao will have some **** in there that moves GGG into an uncomfort zone before even fighting.

Then when they fight, that in and out movement is going to make an off game GGG that much more sluggish.

GGG would really have to hurt Pacquiao bad and or knock him out flush. Cause otherwise Pacquiao can realistically beat him on activity like Clottey, Cotto, Margarito etc.

There is no such thing as a catchweight of 147, that is at a full welterweight, Dela Hoya offered Pacquiao the 147 fight and Pacquiao agreed considering he was a 130 pounder just few months before and got his ass whooped. Clottey had a rehydration clause, not a catchweight.

CW is a contracted weight, meaning if you have a weight clause of any king written into the contract its a CW.

You can have a CW at any weight, say a LW fights a WW at 140 its a CW. Oscar had to make 147 or no fight and it was written in the contract. he had not made that weight in over 10 yrs fighting from 154 to 160.

                      —————

A natural WW? These Filipinos are incredible.
Floyd started his career at 130. At WW he doesn’t train to lose weight. Every single guy Floyd has fought at WW has outweighed him on fight night with the exception of Marquez.

PAC is the king of catchweights (Oscar, Margarito, Cotto, even Marquez) and now GGG.

The list of bums PAC has fought since he started fight true WW without catchweights are mostly bums (Broner, Mathysse, Vargas, Algieri, Horn,) and he fought Mosley and Clottey as they were coming off losses.

So, Bradley and Thurman. And he lost one fight to Bradley anyway.

This is the thing with Filipinos, PAC is their only celebrity. If PAC chose to fight Berti today, Filipinos globally will talk about his great Beeti us and then point to Floyd.
If PAC was to poop and sell his poop as cheesecake, they would drop their life savings to buy it up.
